Our Laboratory
Dress Code & PPE:
Students must wear clean lab coats/aprons, appropriate college uniforms, identity cards, and closed-toe shoes at all times during practical sessions. Hair must be neatly tied back.
Logbook Maintenance:
Every student must sign the entry/exit attendance register and maintain a regular laboratory practical logbook duly signed by the faculty-in-charge.
Equipment Handling:
Handle all anatomical manikins, clinical medical equipment, surgical instruments, and models with extreme care. Any damage or equipment malfunction must be reported to the lab technician immediately.
Discipline & Professionalism:
Strict discipline and professional decorum must be maintained inside the laboratory. Eating, drinking, rowdy behavior, or unauthorized mobile phone usage is strictly prohibited.
Inventory Security:
No laboratory tools, chemicals, clinical linen, or charts may be removed from the lab premises without explicit written authorization from the HOD or lab in-charge.
Safety & Waste Management:
Students must follow standard clinical safety protocols. Disposal of sharps, needles, and medical waste materials must strictly adhere to mandated biomedical waste management guidelines.
